Texas community bankers and IBAT associate members came together—families in tow—for an unforgettable few days at the beautiful Moody Gardens Hotel in Galveston.
This year’s conference was packed with inspiration and energy. Keynote speaker Julie Schniers lit up the room with insights on building stronger, more connected teams, while NBA champion and defensive legend Bruce Bowen brought the heat, sharing wisdom from his time with the San Antonio Spurs. Our powerhouse CEO panel kept the momentum going, diving into hot topics like innovation, economic shifts and the future of community banking. Breakout sessions gave attendees a chance to explore everything from leadership and operations to lending, risk management and some “wildcard” hot topics.
Of course, it wasn’t all business—we made time for plenty of fun! Kids enjoyed their own adventures at Kids’ Camp, got creative with Teddy Bear Mobile and explored the Rainforest, Aquarium and Discovery Pyramids. Families floated through the Lazy River and reeled in memories at the fishing outing. And we wrapped things up in style at Friday Family Fun Night, dancing the night away to live music from the Undercover Band.
