IBAT is where Texas community bankers gather for education, networking and fun in support of the industry. Learn with other community bankers at one of our two premiere educational events – the Connecting Leaders Conference (held each June) and the IBAT Annual Convention (held in September/October).

The IBAT Education Foundation partners or supports several banking schools in Texas and beyond, in an effort to further its mission of “building better bankers.” We encourage IBAT bankers to attend one ore more of the following: Bank Operations Institute (BOI), Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (SWGSB), Texas Tech School of Banking and Sam Houston State University EMBA in Banking and Financial Institutions.
The IBAT Mentorship Program
Following the IBAT Education Foundation Mission of “Building Better Bankers”, we strive to offer new and exciting ways to develop emerging leaders of the community banking industry and sustain the longevity of the banks and the communities in which they serve. The IBAT Mentorship Program encompasses professional development topics such as career growth, banking operations and best practices, recommended certifications, people management skills, succession planning and much more on the community banking forefront.
Heroes and Legends of Community Banking
The Wall of Heroes and Legends is reserved for those who have significantly contributed to the strength of community banking in Texas.
