Last week, IBAT had the incredible opportunity to connect face-to-face with its members across Texas during the Tour de Texas. The annual regional meetings are more than just a road trip—it’s a powerful testament of IBAT’s unshakable allegiance to supporting Texas community banks through thick and thin. These events foster open discussions, giving bankers the opportunity to address challenges head-on and plan for a thriving year ahead. Each stop featured discussions on key industry issues, IBAT’s priorities for 2025 and important regulatory and legislative updates at both state and federal levels.

More than 1,100 community banking professionals joined us at tour stops in Harlingen, Galveston, Houston, Bastrop, San Antonio, San Angelo, Waco, Kilgore, Sulphur Springs, Irving, Decatur, Amarillo and Midland/Odessa. We were honored to be joined by IBAT Chair Tracy Harris of Texas Regional Bank in Harlingen, Michael Emancipator of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), Ryan Hayhurst and Dale Sheller of The Baker Group and IBAT staff at each event.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended—these gatherings truly showcase the strength and spirit of community banking!
