The first quarter was a busy one at IBAT, with multiple annual events already in the books. The first four months saw a flurry of events, including trips to Washington, D.C., the Tour de Texas, the inaugural IBAT EDGE and the annual Winter Summit. In total, IBAT has hosted over 1,900 individuals at live events so far in 2024, representing two-thirds of Texas banks and more than 150 associate members. Thank you to all who have joined us so far.
Here’s a look at the IBAT Calendar in the months ahead.
- IBAT’s Connecting Leaders Conference is a little over a month away. Join other up-and-coming bank leaders from around the state for three days of learning and fun at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, June 26-29. Registration is open and the hotel block is closing soon.
- IBAT is hitting the road again to bring legislative, regulatory and economic updates to bankers across Texas with a 2024 State of the Industry event. Join us at one or more of these meetings as we bring the Texas community banking message into your backyard May 20-23.
- Regional meetings of IBAT’s Leadership Division, including the Region 2 Clay Shoot in San Angelo, Region 10 Lunch, Learn & Fun in Columbus and Region 7 Dove Hunt in Hondo.
- Registration is now open for IBAT’s 50th Annual Convention, scheduled for October 5-8 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio River Walk. Keynote speakers include Kevin Brown, motivational speaker and bestselling author of The Hero Effect® and Dr. Julie Bell, Founder and President of The Mind of a Champion.
