- The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, a registered 501(c)(3) charity, has established the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund. Funds will go to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief and recovery efforts, as well as flood assistance.

- The Ark of Highland Lakes is a faith-based nonprofit organization that exists to serve individuals and families in crisis throughout the Highland Lakes region. Formerly known as the Highland Lakes Crisis Network, Ark unites churches, volunteers and community partners to bring hope, healing and long-term transformation to those in need.

- Closing of branches:
- Texas Finance Code §37.002 permits the closing of an office or operation by an officer of a bank during the emergency, regardless of whether the Texas Department of Banking Commissioner has issued a proclamation of emergency. The office or operation closed may remain closed until the officers of the bank determine that the emergency has ended and for any additional time reasonably required to reopen. Offices or operations may not remain closed for more than three consecutive days, excluding days on which the bank is customarily closed, without the banking commissioner’s approval.
