he Independent Bankers Association of
Texas’ Leadership Conference is the an-
nual flagship event for the association’s
Leadership Division. The conference pro-
Tvides an opportunity for IBAT members
to receive education and leadership development while
strengthening the industry through personal connections.
It offers focused leadership training, networking oppor-
tunities and hot-topic general and breakout sessions, as
well as exhibitor demonstrations. It is family friendly and
filled with entertainment opportunities for all, including
a golf tournament, kids’ camp and family fun night.
The Leadership Conference is also an opportunity for
the next generation of community bankers to learn more
about the industry—and learn from one another. With the
theme “Connecting Leaders,” this year’s conference will
be held June 14–16 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Re-
sort in San Antonio. The conference will include inspir-
ing presentations from Anne Grady, Lyle Sussman Ph.D.,
Holly Hoffman and Matt Birk, among others, all focused
on nurturing leadership at a higher level.
