IBAT is pleased to announce that Wendy Foster has joined IBAT’s government relations team as Associate Director of Government Relations.
Wendy joins IBAT most recently from the Texas General Land Office where she served as Director of Government Affairs under Commissioner George P. Bush. Prior to the GLO, she was a private lobbyist with specialization in hemp and groundwater policy matters.
Additionally, Wendy also served as the Director of Government Affairs for the Texas Water Development Board and a Policy Analyst in the office of Speaker Pete Laney. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University and brings to IBAT her sterling professional reputation and extensive relationships throughout the Texas Capitol.
Pre-filing of bills is already under way at the Texas Capitol in anticipation of the 88th Regular Session of the Texas Legislature. IBAT will be hosting members for a visit to Austin for Community Banking Day at the Capitol on February 15-16, 2023.
