IBAT hosted its annual Bank Operations Institute (BOI) last week at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott. BOI is a two-year program that meets each fall for six days. It offers strategic insight into the present and future of banking processes, project management, technology and cybersecurity—with a focus on helping students develop and enhance their managerial competencies around the operations of community banking. Concentration areas include strategic operations, leadership development and compliance education.

The 42nd Annual BOI was taught by noted regulators, bankers, educators and industry professionals with an emphasis on the practical skills needed for effective and profitable operational management.

Congratulations to this year’s level two top-performing students: Colt Brandenberger from Junction National Bank in Junction; Hilary Davis from Kleberg Bank in Corpus Christi; and Courtney Watz from First National Bank of Eagle Lake in Eagle Lake.
