Online At the IBAT Convention

Social Technologies On Display in New Technology Lounge
This year at our 35th Annual Convention, IBAT and our website partners, NFI Studios, are offering you an ideal way to learn about many of the latest social technologies, including our new website that you’ve been hearing about this year. Wishing someone could demystify your myIBAT page, explain Twitter, or learn how your bank can use Facebook or LinkedIn? Still don’t know how to access the American Banker thru IBAT.org, what an RSS newsfeed is, or how to customize your myIBAT alerts? Stop by our new Social Technology Lounge in the foyer area outside the ballroom for all the answers, and let us know how we can help you.
The Social Technology Lounge will be open from noon to 7pm, on Sunday, October 11th, and from 8am-5pm on Monday and Tuesday, October 12-13th. Stop by for some hands-on help, expert assistance and see working examples of the latest social technologies!
If you’re already a Twitter user and want to help out as a Twitter reporter for us during the convention, come by on Sunday and learn how you can help make Twitter and #ibat09 our eye on the convention.
We have a whole lot more going on at the convention. To see a full list of all the activities, including breakout sessions and learning labs click here. And while you’re with us in San Antonio, don’t forget to visit our tabletop exhibitors to check out the latest products and services designed to keep you on the cutting edge and one step ahead of the competition.
You can follow all of the convention activities on Twitter at www.twitter.com/myibat. If you have already registered, don’t forget to join our 2009 Convention Discussion Group on the IBAT website. Just log in to www.ibat.org and click on the ‘Groups’ link on your myIBAT homepage to find it. It’s a great place to discuss and plan your trip with other attendees.
We’d like to thank our convention sponsors for helping make registration fees a little easier on your wallet. You can click here for a complete list.
