Printer-friendly VersionFor many years, you’ve known the IBAT Bond Trust as the insurance arm for the Independent Bankers Association of Texas but 2008 was the start of a new era.
The IBAT Board of Directors approved the endorsement of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies as the preferred commercial insurance provider for IBAT members and Chubb is accessed through the new insurance operation of IBAT, IBAT Financial Services, Inc. IBAT FS, a corporate insurance agency, licensed in the State of Texas offers their insurance services to Texas Community banks, while representing Chubb and a variety of alternative markets.
We know that placement of your Institution’s Bond, D&O liability, and other insurance coverage is a major decision, based on the assurance that your needs will be met in challenging times. With that in mind, we’ve turned to Chubb, whose people have deep banking industry expertise and are committed to the IBAT endorsement relationship.
IBAT FS is staffed by an experienced team of individuals with knowledge of the insurance needs of the banking industry. Carol Troy and Connie Tolles have joined the IBAT Family to transition existing member banks’ coverage from the Trust as well as expand the current writings to include Property & Casualty coverage.
Carol brings over 20 years of insurance agency experience, having most recently served as National Accounts Manager at Guaranty Insurance. As IBAT FS Agency Manager, she will oversee the operations as well as assist with sales and service.
Connie, with USI for the past 8 years, has been the Underwriter for the Bond Trust and the day-to-day contact for the Community Bankers’ insurance needs. She will continue that role with IBAT FS as Account Executive.
